Beauvallon Collection begins a new chapter with Villa Florentine
If the soul of a place makes its reputation, it is born from the history it carries and from the vision of those who animate it. It is in this spirit that Beauvallon Collection announces the acquisition of Villa Florentine, an emblematic address nestled on the heights of Old Lyon. A family hotel group based in Lyon, founded by Amaury Rostagnat in 2019 and managed on a daily basis by Lucie Brindjonc, Beauvallon cultivates the spirit of major institutions and the French art of living.
An obvious choice for the Beauvallon Collection
This takeover is naturally in line with the vision carried by Beauvallon Collection: to offer its guests exceptional places, both steeped in history and imbued with modernity. Affiliated with Relais & Châteaux and known for offering undoubtedly the most beautiful view of Lyon, Villa Florentine is distinguished by its strong local roots. Set back on the heights of Fourvière Hill, the Renaissance-style building seems to embrace the city, and becomes an ideal setting between disconnection and exploration.
“Villa Florentine seemed obvious for Beauvallon Collection. We want to preserve the soul of places where contemporary travelers feel at home, while celebrating the hotel customs that make great institutions so charming.”
Amaury Rostagnat and Lucie Brindjonc, Founder and CEO of Beauvallon Collection
A shared story
This transition is also part of a shared history: for more than thirty years, the Giorgi family made Villa Florentine grow and shine, in France and internationally. It is a real passing of the baton between two families of hotel entrepreneurs from Lyon, united by their attachment to their city and their demand for excellence.
A new lease on life
Villa Florentine will remain open until January 5, 2026 before temporarily closing its doors for a few weeks: the time for Beauvallon Collection to carry out renovation work. It is scheduled to reopen next April.
A collection of unique houses
After the Hostellerie Cèdre & Spa Beaune in 2019, then the Hostellerie Briqueterie & Spa in Champagne in 2023, Beauvallon is writing a new chapter with Villa Florentine. The collection imagines unique, family addresses, strongly rooted in their territory, which explore time in all its dimensions. Each address invites you to savor the moment, to celebrate a region, to marvel at authenticity. Here, exclusivity is experienced with refinement and discretion, in intimate and soothing settings, far from uniform standards.
